Description

Digitization, the Internet of Things (IoT), d!economy and other buzzwords are gaining increased attention in science and practice. In addition, the modern technology of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is evolving rapidly. Such modern technologies are currently spreading rapidly, significantly changing the world and spatial planning. The seminar will address selected topical issues in spatial planning with regard to the increasing digitalization of the economy and life. Inputs and presentations on the following topics will be presented and discussed by students:

  •     Smart cities, modern IT technology and the city of tomorrow.
  •     Modern geo-information technologies and power grid planning.
  •     UAV technology in spatial planning.

The seminar is limited to 20 studentsl. The registration for all courses is due at the end of the previous semester. Information and deadlines will be announced on the department homepage or via e-mail.

Preparation, regular attendance and active participation in the seminar are important prerequisites for successful seminar completion. The seminar will be completed with a graded paper based on the presentation.
